Welcome to Life Goes on Foundation’s (LGO) website!
Hayward, California’s Life Goes on Foundation (LGO) - 501 (c) 3 - is a nonpolitical
nonprofit organization working in Northern California to help end gun violence amongst
youth and to encourage the medical community to find a cure for paralyzing spinal cord
injuries.
LGO was founded in 2007 By Arthur Renowitzky and his loving family. That year, Arthur was
tragically shot in the chest by an unknown assailant while leaving a San Francisco night
club, leaving him paralyzed for life from the chest down. The shooter was never found.
After the shooting, Arthur rose from a near-death coma and months of determined
rehabilitation with a new lease on life. He now works tirelessly to share his inspiring story of
overcoming a horrific life obstacle. His mission is to help and inspire others who find
themselves in similar life altering situations, encouraging them to remain positive and work
towards overcoming any obstacles that keep them from happiness.
Arthur, now 24, envisions a world where he can one day walk, run and play with his loved
ones without any threat of senseless gun violence. To achieve these goals, Arthur and his
team are committed to speaking out publicly about the realities of gun violence while urging
the medical community to devote more time and funding to uncover a cure for spinal cord
injuries.
Life Goes on Foundation welcomes you to join Arthur and his social cause through
volunteerism, donations and local activism. Help Arthur reach more kids about the dangers
and realities of gun violence, urge more influencers within the medical community and make
this world a better place for us all!
Thank you for visiting Life Goes on Foundation. We look forward to hearing from you and
gaining your support!!
